Position: Fuel/Oil Delivery Driver
Location: Bronx, NY 10454
Hourly Pay: $35/hr. - $40/hr. (DOE)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with some overtime required
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Fuel/Oil Delivery Driver to join our team in the Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of work experience, familiarity with Esys software, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. DOT endorsements are preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery Operations:
- Safely deliver fuel and oil to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Navigate and follow assigned routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Equipment and Safety:
- Operate delivery trucks and equipment in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper maintenance and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers and addressing their needs.
- Ensure accurate completion of delivery documentation and records.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 4-5 years of work experience as a fuel/oil delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Experience with Esys software is a plus.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of fuel and oil delivery procedures and equipment.
- Excellent navigation and route planning skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and handling fuel hoses and equipment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Certifications:
- DOT endorsements are preferred but not required.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
